PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026. This policy covers the Blox website (bloxpuzzle.com), the browser game and the Blox apps.
Who we are
Blox is a puzzle game made by an independent developer in India. Contact: bloxpuzzlehelp@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Game progress on your device. Your level progress, settings (like vibration) and best scores are saved in your browser or app storage. They stay on your device unless you play online.
- Guest account. When you use online features (weekly tournament, leaderboards) we create an anonymous guest account with a random ID. No name or email is needed.
- Account details. If you sign in, we store your email address, the display name you choose and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the basic profile details they share (name, profile picture).
- Gameplay for tournaments. For weekly levels we store the moves you submit, your move count, hints used, points and the time you solved each level — so the server can check scores fairly and rank leaderboards.
- Friends and leagues. The groups you create or join, invite codes, who invited whom, and which weekly league group you're in.
- Technical data. Our hosting providers keep standard logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and to keep the service running.
What others can see
Your display name, avatar and points appear on leaderboards. Members of your groups and league see your name and points. Your move lists and email address are never shown to other players.
Ads
The game shows a small number of ads, served by Google (AdSense on the web, AdMob in the apps). Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads and measure them, and, where you allow it, to personalise ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in the consent message. On iPhone, the app asks for permission before any tracking. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. We only allow family-friendly ad categories.
Services we use
- Supabase — accounts, scores and leaderboards (data stored in Mumbai, India).
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
- Google AdSense / AdMob — ads.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr — fonts and code libraries loaded by the website.
We don't sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and scores while your account exists. Unused guest accounts may be deleted after 12 months. Server logs are kept for a short time by our hosting providers.
Children
Blox is for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) without a parent's consent. If you think a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Play without an account — progress stays on your device.
- Change your display name at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and scores by emailing bloxpuzzlehelp@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. We reply within 30 days.
- Clearing your browser or app data removes progress stored on your device.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll show a notice in the game.
